"When you are doing your route for the day and ploting your course, what is the easiest way to do that? I know you are using a GPS but when you have say 15 leads cards are you ploting them on a map to see what order you will be using. Is there an particular
program you are using to plot before you put them in order as favoriets in your GPS?"
Thanks for the questions John. To answer with this... It doesnt matter what program you use as long as it allows you to organize your leads to create a circular route. A circular route will allow you to minimize excessive driving and wasted time back tracking.
I prefer to use my GPS to map my route. The Garmin Nuvi allows you to enter in all your locations and save them. Once they are all saved, you can pull up the map, touch the locations, and get the address to organize them in the order you want.
I have several friends that use a different organization system. Some GPSs will automatically 'optomize' the route for you. They will start you at point A and then automatically organize your route. As for me... I find this system to be a bigger hastle than a help.
Others choose to use MapQuest or Mircrosoft Streets and Maps. Once again, it doesnt matter which system you use as long as it eliminate as much back tracking as possible.
