New Blog Series. How to Servive Your First 12 Months in Final Expense

Every day I speak with agents who are trying to get started in the final expense business.   They are like a ‘deer in headlights’ because they don’t know where to go.  Starting a new career/business can be a little over whelming and it is even worse if you don’t have someone to show you how to do it.
Statistically, about 1/10 agents who are hired are still selling insurance after twelve months.  Sales, in general, have a huge turnover and final expense is no different.  Leads are expensive and cash flow is key.  
 
Most of the blame is on the agent for being lazy, inefficient, or too proud to ask for help.  I also place a lot of blame on the managers for not giving their agents the tools and resources necessary to do 
well.  So I am going to do your managers job and try to give you a few pointers that will help you navigate the whole process.

 In the next blog post we are going to talk about getting licensed and how to do it.  If you are already licensed, this post probably won’t serve you but I can assure you that future posts for this series will be worth reading.  I am going to strive to get a post out every few days but let’s be honest… that is probably wishful thinking.  I like my free time too much!
