When to Fire a Pain in the Butt Customer
Time to Fire Your Pain in the Butt Customer!
To my surprise she did what 1/500 people in her position do... she mail it back to me! I was super supprised and excitted. She mailed the application with a $42 money order made out to my company. The only problem was she didnt sign it. I mailed her back the application and money order with a letter asking her to sign the application, complete a phone interview and drop it in the postage paid envelope for the mailman. I honestly don't know how I could have made it any easier.
Today I got a letter from her ripping me down one side and up the other. She claims that I didn't do my job and make sure all was in order before I left her house and that she was unsatisfied with how I handled the processing of her application. Balogna! I did what I do in every house, 100%
Sometimes, customers will ask you to do the impossible and no matter what you do to help them, it will never be enough to satisfy. This is when you FIRE them! Believe it or not, there are some people who want your product and you DONT want them to buy it. It sounds crazy but no amount of money is worth the hell some people can put you through. People with unrealistic expectation can never be satisfied and should be left to some other poor salesman. Simply do what I do. Tell them, 'There is another company out there that will be a little better fit for them' and bid them adios.
