Telephone Doubts
These are the
most common telephone doubts your will get while you are calling people to set
appointments. Almost all doubts will fall into a variation of one of these 5,
so feel free to vary them to fit whichever situation you find yourself in.
What's this about?
We just wanted
the information in the mail.
We are going to be gone all day... (Dr's
appointment, store, etc.)
Is this insurance?
I already have my final
expenses taken care of.
"What's this about?"
This is on that card you had mailed in
requesting information on the supplement to social security death benefit of
$255. It will pay up to 100% of final expenses up to $15,000.
"We just wanted the information in
the mail"
It did, I sent a little brochure that came with
the card and it generically told you what it was. But rather than mail you
another generic form I'd rather give you something specific that applies to your
situation and that will take me about 10 minutes to do that. Whatever you do
with the information from there is up to you. I don’t even care if you throw it
away, my obligation is to give you the information you requested. Tony, are you
going to be home tomorrow between 1-2? It really only takes about 10-15
minutes.
"We are going to be gone
all day... (Doctors appointments, store, etc)."
Okay, what time is your appointment? 2 o’clock?
Okay, he should be there about 4 or 5 o clock.
"Is this about
insurance"
Yes, That’s exactly what this is. This is that
final expense supplement that helps pay for funerals and other expenses
associated with passing.
"I already have my final expenses
taken care of."
Most people do, this goes along with whatever
you already have. I'll simply give you the information and you can decide for
yourself whether it's something you can use. If you don’t want it, just throw
it away. It really only takes about 10 minutes.
