Questions from the Almighty Insurance-Forums.net

I got an email today from an associate of mine with a link to a thread on the Almighty Insurance-Forums.net about me. For those of you who don't know, Insurance-forums.net is a place where you can get great tips on products and sales strategies. It can also be a cancer to POSITIVITY and PRODUCTIVITY if you are not careful. 
The thread was started by an agent who wanted to know if anybody on the forum thought our training was worth the money (it is BTW). The thread quickly progressed into questions about where we come from, who we are, and what we do. For that reason, I am doing this post to help dispel some of these myths and questions.

Q. Is there better training for free?
A. Nothing in the free training market is comparable to what we do here but if you want free... you can have it. We offer FREE training to all our agent. Lets chat and see if we are a good fit. If so, lets get you some free training. Don't want to join?... that is fine because anybody who has ordered the program (with the exception of three refunds over the last 5 years) agrees that the training is worth every penny.

Q.With which company was Cody Shirley captive?
A. Old American Insurance Company. Great company, awesome lead program, just lower pricing BIG TIME, and I liked them (mostly). They weren't the right fit for my career so I moved on. No hard feelings. I'm currently contracted with a lot of heavy hitters now. My favorites are: American Amicable, Monumental Life, Columbian Life, Oxford, UHL, and Security National Life. We have other contracts but haven't found them necessary. 

Q. Is learning about the funeral industry necessary?
A. Really? You sell final expense insurance; therefor, YES ITS NECESSARY! Nobody likes learning about funerals but if you want to become an expert in the business (AND YOU DO) you MUST know the business. If you don't, you could lose business to others who do. 

Q. Is Cody a self promoter?
A. Absolutely. As a salesman, its my job.
