I always recommend that new FE superstars attempt to 'drop-by' the homes of their prospects. If you attempt to call and set up appointments, you will waste a lot of leads because it is easier to blow you off over the phone than it is face to face. When you simply drop by, you will have a greater chance of getting into the home, completing an interview, and making the sale. Another problem you eliminate when you drop by the house is a missed or forgotten appointment. A missed or forgotten appointment is always a factor in our beloved senior market.
*Make sure you know the laws and regulations of the state you are licensed in. For example, California law requires all agents to give a 24 hour written notice to anybody over 65 if you are giving a life insurance presentation.
